Pinot Noir 2010 isn’t just a celebration of great wine – it’s also about fine cuisine.

Leading New Zealand chef, caterer and food writer, Ruth Pretty, leads the culinary programme, for the fourth time – promising fresh, delicious, imaginative New Zealand cuisine and some exceptional culinary experiences.

Ruth’s catering expertise is unique in Wellington, including glittering events like the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, and King Kong premieres, and large events like the 2008 Air New Zealand Wine Awards Dinner for 750 discerning food and wine buffs.

In 2005, Ruth was inducted into the New Zealand Restaurant Association Hall of Fame for her devotion to serving and promoting high quality food both in New Zealand and internationally.

Ruth has become a promoter of New Zealand’s fine foods and wines. In 2005, Ruth Pretty Catering was responsible for the VIP hospitality lounge attached to the New Zealand Pavilion at the World Expo in Aichi, Japan and at the 2006 pre regatta sailing, Ruth’s team managed the VIP corporate hospitality for Emirates Team New Zealand, and then again in 2007 America’s Cup held in Valencia, Spain.
